So here is a picture of some handmade shutters which I’m making out of Sipo. Sipo is an African hard wood which is from the same family as Mahogany but is very weather resistant and has anti fungal properties making it a great choice for exterior applications like shutters, windows, doors and even garden furniture such as Adirondack chairs. Here is a link to the my shutters page which contains photos of the complete fitted shutters.
I’ve been making some Dovetailed Kitchen Drawers today and thought I’d share how the Japanese Dozuki worked it’s magic on these pieces of Cherry and Beech.
Prototype Adirondack Chair is coming along, just tgought I’d share a quick update of the arms coming to life.
Started to make a Prototype Adirondack chair as I am planning to sell them on my website. The first prototype is made out of some old pine boards I have lying around the shop. Stay tuned for progress!
